Understanding the Trends Report
The Trends Report on the Localyser Dashboard complements the Overview Report by presenting data over a selected period of time offering a deeper analysis of your business's performance and giving you the ability to compare it with previous months or the same period from the year before.
Trends Report Features:
- Data Visualization: The Trends Report uses charts to visualize key metrics over a range of days. Each point on the chart represents a specific day, and hovering your mouse over a point will display the corresponding number for that particular day. This allows for a detailed analysis of daily performance trends.
- Date Range Comparisons: Users can compare current numbers with previous periods using the filters provided. By selecting "previous" from the filter, you can compare the current numbers to the numbers from the same day in the previous month. Similarly, selecting "past" from the filter enables you to compare the current numbers to the numbers from the same day in the past year. This feature provides insights into month-over-month and year-over-year performance comparisons.
- Source Breakdown: In addition to the main chart, the Trends Report also includes a similar chart that divides the numbers into sources. By filtering the sources under the chart, users can view the performance trends of specific review sources. This breakdown helps identify which sources contribute most significantly to overall performance.
- Previous or Past filter: To select Previous means it will compare the results of the selected date with the previous period. While, Past Compares the results with the same period from the past year.
